It's March and this is when you will hear about your UC admission decisions. So take a deep breath, relax and get those video cameras ready for your reaction shots.
First off, please make sure and confirm that you are plugged into each of your
My Application portals for
each UC you applied to-- user name, application number and password checked. They will notify you through this portal.
UC Berkeley – Last year came out on March 24 at about 5:00pm.
[Last year, it was originally posted that the UC Berkeley decisions will be up at 12 noon, but because of the enormous site traffic, it was all cleared to check at 5:00 pm.] This year: March 29, 2012. [Confirmed]
UC Davis – Last year decisions came out on March 23rd. This year:
March 16, 2012. [Confirmed]
UC Irvine – Last year came out February 1st then trickled in with all final decisions released online on March 23rd. This year: Have been release since Feb 1st but will continue till end of March.
UCLA - Last year came out Friday, March 11 at about 6:00 pm. Was told at a UCLA orientation in January, 2011 that UCLA will release their decisions on the second Friday in March. This year:

UC Merced – Acceptances have already been released and will continue through March.

UC Riverside – Last year decisions came out starting February 1st and throughout March.

UC San Diego – Last year, online decisions came out Saturday, March 19th starting at about 3pm. This year:
March 17, 2012. [Confirmed]
UC Santa Barbara – Last year, all decisions came out on Monday, March 21 at 4 p.m. This year:
March 19, 2012. [Confirmed}
UC Santa Cruz – Last year, UCSC decisions came out on March 15th. This year:
March 15, 2012. [Confirmed]
They release them later on in the afternoon so kids won't check during school and disrupt class by checking. If you do receive a decision, please feel free to post here to update us.
A note about the Regents' Scholarship at Berkeley - If you received an invitation to interview for the Regents' Scholarship at UC Berkeley and you interviewed, most likely you are accepted whether or not you are chosen for the scholarship.
